Big E, Kofi Kingston vs. Cesaro, Tyson Kidd: Winner, More from 2015 Royal Rumble

Sunday's Royal Rumble kicked off in exciting fashion as the team of Cesaro and Tyson Kidd with Adam Rose in their corner defeated Big E. and Kofi Kingston of The New Dayin a tag team elimination match on the pre-show.WWE snapped a picture of the winners:Robert Littal of BlackSportsOnline was impressed with the action:Cesaro quickly went on Twitter to react to the big win:Since Kofi Kingston and Big E have gotten together with Xavier Woods to form The New Day, they have spread a positive message across WWE and put on some entertaining matches in the process. Woods did not appear in Sunday's match, opting to support both men from their corner.Cesaro, Kidd and Rose haven't been impressed with The New Day's happy-go-lucky attitude, though, which is largely why the two sides have entered into a rivalry.The feud first started a few weeks ago on Raw when Cesaro and Kidd posed as Rosebuds and attacked The New Day. Since then, the six Superstars have mixed it up on several occasions.They had a six-man match on a recent episode of Main Event that received rave reviews from many, including Cesaro himself:Kofi, Big E and Woods got the better of their opponents in that contest, but finally came out on the losing end at the Royal Rumble.Rose has undergone a character transformation in recent months that has seen him go from party goer to party pooper. His new attitude is in direct conflict with his Rosebuds, which may be why Rose's followers showed support for The New Day's infectious enthusiasm on the go-home edition of Raw, per WWE Universe on Twitter:While the Rosebuds and legions of fans may like what Kingston, Big E and Woods have to offer, their counterparts remain annoyed:With WWE's tag team division in a state of disarray at the moment, there should be an opportunity for Cesaro and Kidd as well as The New Day to take on a greater role in the coming weeks and months with WrestleMania XXXI.It can be argued that The New Day's gimmick is a bit too over-the-top, and there certainly isn't a ton of logic behind putting Cesaro and Kidd with Rose.Looking past those issues, though, both teams are great in the ring and have the potential to vie for and win the Tag Team Championships based on that alone.Based on the fact that Cesaro and Kidd were victorious at the Royal Rumble, it can be assumed that they are higher on the food chain than The New Day at this point.Cesaro and Kidd are two incredible in-ring workers, and there is a lot of potential in them as a combination.
