Norlander added that the sophomore guard returned to the Wildcats bench shortly thereafter, and John Clay of Lexington Herald-Leader reported that he would return to the game as well. Veteran Kentucky beat writer Jerry Tipton reported that Harrison's two middle fingers were taped together.Harrison entered Thursday as the team's leading scorer at 11.1 points a game. His absence wouldn't have had an impact on Kentucky advancing to the Elite Eight, but the unbeaten Wildcats will certainly need him in the later round(s).
