MLB.com's August Fagerstrom addedCarrasco had a cortisone shot and that he's only expected to be on the 15-day disabled list.Manager Terry Francona provided an encouraging update Tuesday before the club decided to shelve its exceptional hurler, per the Associated Press, via ESPN.com:Sometimes when you give MRIs to pitchers you have to be a little bit careful because anybody throwing a baseball is going to have something wrong with him, but his was very clean and we were thrilled. [...] Regardless of whether it's going to be two days, three days or a couple weeks, he's going to be fine.Carrasco has a 2.36 ERA in seven starts since the All-Star break.
