40 per cent of Africans live in slums 'Osinbajo

VICE President Yemi Osinbajo, on Saturday, revealed that over 40 per cent of the African population live in slums where the rights of children are not in anyway protected.Osinbajo was the guest lecturer at the 12th foundation annual lecture of Dorcas Oke Hope Alive Initiative, held at the International Conference centre, University of Ibadan. The vice-president, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Ade Ipaye, spoke on the theme, 'Child abuse and the challenges of the African child.
