A.J. Green, Jeremy Hill, C.J. Uzomah Post-Week 4 Fantasy Advice

Published by Bleacher Report on Fri, 30 Sep 2016

Plenty of fantasy owners were happy with the Cincinnati Bengals' performance on Thursday night against the Miami Dolphins, particularly if you had A.J. Green or Mike Nugent. After every game, however, the important question to ask is what to do next. Here is some advice regarding the key performers in Week 4.A.J. GreenGreen sometimes has a problem with consistency, but few were complaining about his performance in the first half of Thursday's game. The Pro Bowl receiver caught a couple of long passes that went for over 40 yards and added this touchdown after a breaking a tackle in a one-on-one situation:He had eight catches for 123 yards in the first half alone.Bleacher Report's Ian Kenyon believes this game is proof of Green's ability:This could be an opportunity for you to sell high, but the Bengals' toughest defensive opponent (Denver Broncos) is already behind them. The best thing to do is keep him in your lineup for the rest of the year and enjoy the points that come with it.Jeremy HillWe can assume by now that efficiency will never be Jeremy Hill's strong suit. He averaged just 3.6 yards per carry last season and will likely remain under 4.0 yards per carry in most games in 2016.His 97-yard, two-touchdown performance last week was more of the exception than the rule.On the other hand, Hill will keep getting carries in this offenseespecially when the Bengals have the lead. In an era when few running backs receive consistent touches, the third-year player gets the ball as much as almost anyone. These carries lead to a high volume of yards and often touchdowns, as he has proved throughout his career.Although he will rarely be exciting, he will grind out yards and has as good a chance of scoring as anyone in the league. This is worth a starting lineup spot on your fantasy team, especially with a favorable upcoming schedule.C.J. UzomahAlthough C.J. Uzomah has been a useful player in the first four games of the season, he is clearly a step down from Tyler Eifert. That is especially obvious in the red zone, where the Bengals struggled to finish off drives against the Dolphins. While tight end is such a shallow position in fantasy that you should consider anyone who gets regular catches, Uzomah's inability to get into the end zone is a concern at this stage.More importantly, Eifert likely won't be out for too much longer. He practiced this week and was set to be a game-time decision, according to Geoff Hobson of the team's official site.If Uzomah is on your team, you can safely drop him. Otherwise, just leave him in the free-agent pool and look elsewhere. Follow Rob Goldberg on Twitter.
