Adam 'Pacman' Jones Arrest Video Released by TMZ

On Monday, TMZ Sports shared video footage of Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones' Jan. 3 arrest following an incident at the Millennium Hotel in Cincinnati.The video showed Jones using obscenities directed toward the arresting officers and wishing death upon one officer (warning: video contains NSFW language):Jones' attorneys sent a statement to ESPN's Josina Anderson after TMZ released the video [sic]: "Adam Jones is deeply embarrassed and remorseful for his conduct and language after being arrested in early January. Mr. Jones has the utmost respect for law-enforcement and the difficulties police encounter on a daily basis."As it relates to the allegations, and upon advice of counsel, Mr. Jones will not be commenting upon legal proceedings at this time. Mr. Jones is committed to the process of counseling and anger management, in order to ensure that such situations never occur in the future. Adam loves Cincinnati and considers it home. He sincerely apologize to the officers, the Cincinnati Bengals organization and all the fans in Cincinnati."The Bengals would also release a statement, via Jay Morrison of Cox Media Group, "We are extremely disappointed with Adams behavior. The behavior in the video is not what we expect from our players. The Club is aware that Adam has put forth his own apology, however, we also offer an apology to the public and to our loyal fans."According to the Cincinnati Enquirer's Paul Dehner Jr., Kevin Grasha and Jim Owczarski, Jones was released from jail Jan. 4. Authorities charged him with felony harassment with a bodily substance, assault, disorderly conduct and obstructing police.Jones is alleged to have poked a member of Millennium Hotel security in the eye after security received reports of Jones "beating on different hotel room doors." Upon being arrested, the 33-year-old allegedly physically resisted officers' efforts to put him in a police vehicle.The Associated Press reported Jones will have a hearing in front of a Hamilton County judge Feb. 10.
