CAA to make UNIPORT HPC global model

The President of Confederation of African Athletics, Hammed Kalkaba, on Tuesday promised support that will ensure that the IAAF/ CAA Athletics High Performance Centre located at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State becomes one of the best in the world soon. Tracing the origin of the centre to 2013, Kalkaba recollected that Athletic Federation of Nigeria President, Solomon Ogba, brought former IAAF President, Lamine Diack, to the University of Port Harcourt where he was conferred with a Honourary Doctorate Degree in philosophy.
