8 deleted scenes that didn't make it into the live-action 'Beauty and the Beast

Disney's live-action "Beauty and the Beast" will be coming to Blu-ray and DVD next month and it will be packed with a bunch of deleted scenes that were cut from the final film.According to a press release from Disney, the movie will include eight deleted scenes in addition to an alternate version of one of the film's songs.Most of the deleted scenes revolve around Gaston and LeFou ' the two best characters in the new film' and include a few iconic moments from the animated movie.Keep reading to see the full list of deleted scenes that were cut from the film.1. "Gaston Courts Belle"Description of the scene: "Pleased with himself after settling a disturbance with the townspeople, a triumphant Gaston attempts to woo Belle."This would have been a scene of Gaston speaking with Belle after her laundry gets knocked over. Gaston getsthe townspeople off of Belle's back after they start bullying her.The scene leads right into the one where he appears at her home to ask for her hand in marriage.You can watch the scene here.2. "Bread and Jam for Agathe"Description: "On her morning market rounds, Belle stops by to see Agathe, the village beggar woman."Another scene that would have occurred early in the film, this would have been another opportunity to see more of the Enchantress in her other form. Belle would have dropped off some goods to Agathe in a momentary break from her song at the film's start.Maybe that's why Agathe is keen to help Belle's father later in the film when he's left for dead in the forest.You can watch the scene here.3. "Storming the Ice Gates"Description: "The angry mob of villagers, led by Gaston, overwhelms the castle's defenses."This is an extended scene of Gaston and the village mob marching to the castle with more lyrics to themob song.
