Did a driver refuse you a ride because you have a service animal' That's bad too.According to Harry Campbell, creator of a blog and podcast for ride-share drivers called The Rideshare Guy, even drivers are surprised by the rules, since they can sometimes vary from state to state and city to city.Since Uber drivers aren't classified as full-time or part-time employees, Uber can't provide job training. Failing a background checkBackground-check laws vary from state to state, but in municipalities that are imposing stricter regulations, drivers need to have a clean recordlike no arrests or DUIsin order to drive.
