Court strikes out Diezani's name from $1.6bn fraud charge

Tunde Oyesina Abuja The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has struck out the name of former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke from a nine-count charge bothering on $1.6 billion crude oil fraud. The suit was originally instituted by the Federal Government against businessman, Jide Omokore, and five others. Deizanis name had appeared in Count 8 of the charge.
