Charlotte Flair Says She Knew Father Ric Would Recover from Medical Emergency

WWE superstar Charlotte Flair says she had no doubt her father, Ric Flair, would make it back from his recent health issues.Speaking to TMZ Sports, the four-time WWE Raw women's champion said there was never any doubt Flair would "kick out"of his medical setbacks and that he's been cleared to go home from the hospital.Flair was hospitalized on Aug. 12 with what his talent agent,Melinda Morris Zanoni,saidwas just "routine monitoring."His fiancee, Wendy Barlow, said in a Facebook post (viaTMZ Sports) on Aug. 16 that Flair was dealing with "multiple organ problems" and was still in critical condition after undergoing surgery.In an interview withPeople TV, Flair said he's battled alcoholism for years and doctors told his daughter after he was admitted to the hospital to go see him because he "wasn't going to make it."The 68-year-old Flair is regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers in the history of the sport. He's a 16-time world champion and WWE Hall of Famer.
