2015: Delta Women Pick Nomination Form For Olejeme

By Andrew IkehiThousands of Delta women,Thursday declared support for the governorship ambition of Dr. Ngozi Olejeme in the next years Gubernatorial election in Delta State.Leading the group, the Chairman, Concerned Delta Women Forum (CDMF), Hon. Catherine Ilolo said, 2015 is a time for serious business and a woman like Dr. Ngozi Olejeme fits the bill. She has what it takes to rule the state to the pride of all indigenesBriefing newsmen at the National Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja on the mission of the group and the chances of Dr. Olejeme in a male dominated politics, Hon. Ilolo said the women opted for Dr. Olejeme, owing to her track record in the public service and her philanthropic activities.Olejeme is a crusader for women empowerment and humanity. She has done so much in NSITF and other organizations to improve the lot of Nigerians, particularly Deltans. Her investment profile in human development is heavy the former member of the Delta State House of Assembly said.The organization, which has multitude of followership in all the 25 local government areas of the state, paid one million naira for the expression of interest and nomination form for Dr. Olejeme.Ilolo, former Commissioner, Delta State Independent Electoral Commission (DSIEC) said that Dr. Olejemes interest in the governorship was to bring about a better Delta where the people would be very proud.Dr. Olejeme will work for the transformation of the stateShe urged women in the state to brace up for the politics of 2015.Dr. Olejemes chances of becoming the next governor of the state are very bright. She has the support of the people she said.Dr. Olejeme represents the collective dream of the people she added.
