2015: 'Nigeria will not disintegrate' 'Why Buhari may leave APC

Published by Tribune on Sun, 23 Nov 2014

Primate Elisha Ayodele, in this interview with AYOMIDE OWONIBI ODEKANYIN, bares his mind on the 2015 elections and what Nigerians should expect. What are your prophesies for Nigeria'2015 is still around the corner but we must say what we have seen about the political climate of the country. The first thing is that Nigerians have to pray as from the 1st till the 15th of January, 2015 for the elections to be peaceful and for peace to reign in this country. As against what INEC has said that there would be elections all over, we should not expect elections all over. There are areas where we are not going to have elections. The government is getting the issue of Boko Haram wrong. They are empowering Boko Haram with the way they are going about it. I can specifically tell you that Boko Haram has nothing. The government must not dialogue with them at all. The truth is that they cannot defeat the Nigerian military. The Nigerian military is not properly equipped. I see trouble in the military but I can't specifically say where that trouble is coming from. The people who are behind Boko Haram are part of the people that are closer to government. When they are detected, then the government will know what to do.There will be political tension in Jigawa, Gombe, Yobe, Ekiti, Ondo, Lagos, Rivers and Abia States. After the primary election, there would be a lot of political crisis. So, we need to pray.If APC picks Buhari, it will make things harder for Jonathan. And if they don't pick Buhari, he would leave APC. After the election, some people would still decamp to PDP. They must know how to manage it properly.I see crisis in the Lagos State APC. If Ambode is picked, APC might lose Lagos State gallantly. They should look at things properly because some of their candidates would go back to PDP.As it is, if Jonathan wins, there would be problems. If APC wins, there would be problems. Let us pray because Nigeria is sitting on a time bomb. After 2015, I see a kind of referendum that would come up. This would decide the fate of Nigeria and if care is not taken we would start having republicans within Nigeria. The country needs a lot of prayers. It concerns everybody. There is a lot that is going to come up from now till when the elections would take place. The system would not get it right. We should pray that we don't lose any Emir or Oba. We should also pray so that we don't experience political assassination. Unexpected things would happen. Also, Obama's party might lose the forthcoming elections. Let us pray against bloodbath in the world.ISIS is still going to cause a lot of problems. They will kill their leaders but it is not going to be soon. Boko Haram's name will still change. There would be an emergence of serious factions among them that would cause a lot of problems.Kenya should be careful because I see crisis. The Ghanaian President would not find it easy in his second term. He must be very careful so that they would not team up against him. What do you think the government should do specifically to tackle the issue of insecurity in the country'The government has not got the security system right. I know that the security chiefs would still be changed. They should pray before knowing who should handle the realm of affairs in the country's security. They should use prayers to detect who should lead. They are confused. The system is confused. This is the spiritual aspect. In the physical aspect, they may say they have the techniques but it is all lies. Jonathan must handle the issue of security and Chibok girls very well because going by what I see, the international community will still rise against Nigeria's politics. Jonathan is going to face a very tough time and he needs to manage it properly. I don't see any seriousness in him at all.We have to be very careful because there will be bomb scare in Yobe, Jigawa, and even Lagos. We still have to be watchful because Boko Haram are political enemies of this country and they are being sponsored by politicians. There would be bomb scare in some parts of the country and bomb explosions in others. We have to be careful as it is coming to the South West. We need to be very watchful and prayerful. We need to sit right and let government face reality. This issue of bomb blasts is just coming up.The truth is that 2015 would not disintegrate Nigeria but what happens after that is what would determine Nigeria's fate. There would be trouble after the elections. But with prayers it can be minimised and we can experience a peaceful election.Your thoughts on Chibok girls. Not all the girls would be released. Some would be released on negotiation. The government needs prayers for directives on the issue of negotiation. It is prayers we need in Nigeria. Involving America, Chad and other countries is just a waste of time. They are all sycophants. Jonathan thinks they are his friends while they are not. The government is taking a wrong step on dialogue. Jonathan is going through a lot. If APC gets there, another insurgent group will rise up. These insurgents are planning seriously to bomb so many places on the same day.A lot of politicians would be disappointed. It is only God that would help Sambo to scale through. Nigerians should expect many political dramas. What are your predictions for the health sector'The health sector is nothing to write home about. Ebola is not yet over, especially in Lagos. The government should be very prepared for it. They should stand firm and face it. Doctors would still go on strike. We should still pray. I see another water-borne disease deadlier than Ebola.Specifically, what do you think President Jonathan should do in the light of all these challenges'Jonathan should seek God. If he does this, God will reveal certain things to him. He should take this serious. He should go into fasting and prayers for fourteen days praying that God should show him the right step to take. His advisers are making him lose track. What are your thoughts on Nigeria's economy'The stock market would rise again. The telecommunication sector would experience network troubles till January. They will be penalised. We should pray that we do not lose an important person in the telecommunications sector. We still need to pray for the aviation sector so that we won't have plane crashes. Let us pray that by December no plane will crash in Nigeria. What should Christians do at this time'Most of the Christian bodies in Nigeria are political parties. Politics has infiltrated Christendom. We need men of God that can speak authoritatively about leaders without fear and prejudice. As a man of God, you should not live on people's benefits. You should depend totally on God. This is why there is no truth in Christianity again. Everyone wants to be a prophet. As from 2015, some people would want to get Muazu out of office. He should pray so that his efforts would be rewarded. If politicians leave themselves and allow the prophets to say what they want to say, they will not be misguided. But most of the time, they listen to falsehood. I prophesied in 2006 that someone from the South South would rule Nigeria, and though it took long, it still came to pass. We should not read prophesies like ordinary literature but take time to analyse them even though it takes long to come to pass. Enough of pastors who criticise prophesies because they are blindfolded. The government should take climate change seriously. We don't pray for natural disasters but as it is, climatic conditions might cause disaster. There would be scarcity of petrol come December which would last till January. What is your message to Nigeria'Nigerians should look up unto God. We need to be prayerful and come closer to God.
