Libyan driver and his mother arrested for smuggling six Nigerian migrants

<img src="https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/photos/shares/lib_1755544484.png">A Libya driver and his mother were arrested for attempting to smuggle six undocumented Nigerian migrants.The arrest was made during a routine police patrol on Sunday, August 17, 2025 in the Sirte area of Libya.Migrant Rescue Watch in a post on Monday stated that the suspects and migrants have been handed over to relevant authorities for further legal action."Abu Najim Police Dept. (Sirte) seized a vehicle and arrested a Libya driver ('A.M.M.') accompanied by his mother for attempted human smuggling of 6 undocumented #migrants of Nigerian nationality.
