Gumi warns Tinubu over alleged Mossad plot to assassinate Muslim leaders in Nigeria<br><br><blockquote><b>According to a report by Daily Post, on Monday, August 18, 2025, popular Islamic scholar, Dr. Ahmad Abubakar Mahmud Gumi, has sparked heated debate after warning that Israels intelligence agency, Mossad, is allegedly operating in Nigeria. He claimed the presence of the agency could trigger secret killings of Muslim leaders across the country.</b><br><br>Speaking through his social media page, the cleric alleged that the situation is a ticking time bomb.<br><br>He warned that allowing Mossad to establish any kind of influence in Nigeria amounts to inviting danger into the nations security system.<br><br>Dr. Gumi further linked his concerns to past events. He pointed to the sudden death of former Head of State, General Sani Abacha, suggesting that his death was not ordinary.<br><br><b>According to him, Abachas passing shortly after hosting late Palestinian leader, Yasir Arafat, in Abuja, raises serious suspicion.<br><br>The outspoken preacher asked why Nigeria would open its doors to what he described as a genocidal apartheid government.
