The officers, attached to the trio task team, had collected the suspect for an appearance at the Roodepoort Magistrates Court in connection with a 2023 business robbery case.Our members went to fetch a suspect that was to appear in the Roodepoort magistrate's court in a case of business robbery that occurred in 2023, Masondo said.He explained that after the court proceedings, the detectives were intercepted and fatally shot while returning the suspect to police custody.
