Her nightmare always begins the same way. Walking through the darkness, holding a candle to light her way, 17-year-old Jayne Hume searches frantically for her mother, whose cries she can hear nearby.Her shouts of, 'Mum, where are you'' are met by a muffled scream, which she eventually traces to a gaping black hole in a field into which her mother has fallen.She is crying for help as she desperately tries to claw her way back out.For Jayne, now 20, however, the nightmare continues even after she wakes, powerless to change the outcome.
