PDP did not flout court order on gov primary in Bayelsa - Official

POLITICAL Adviserto PresidentGoodluck Jonathan, Alhaji Ahmed Gulak said PDP did not flout any court order by conducting the governorship election primary in Bayelsa last Saturday.Gulak told a news conference on Monday, in Abuja, that the purported court order did not stop the primary as there was no ex-parte order saying PDP should not hold the primary.'The court said PDP must be put on notice and properly heard before such order is given and gave the return date to be the 22nd of November.'The court did not give them the ex-parte order they sought. The court said 'put PDP on notice so that we can come and hear you,' but the court did not stop primaries.'The issue here is there was no ex-parte order, but that the parties must come back to court to be heard on why the order should not be given. So PDP did not flout any order.
