Zamfara to construct 280km road

THE Zamfara State government is to construct a 280 kilometre road across the 14 councils of the state before the end of next year, Governor AbdulazizYari Abubakar has said.Addressing his supporters at the Gusau Air strip shortly after he returned from this year's hajj, the governor disclosed that roads construction would receive the desired attention from his administration.He explained that very soon contract for the construction of a 20 kilometre road in each council of the state would be awarded.The governor urged the people to continue praying for him to enable him fulfill his campaign promises even as he announced the re- introduction of free medical care for women and children in the state.
