Ibru, a patriotic Nigerian, say Babangida, Atiku, Mark, others

TWENTY-FOUR hours after his death, the publisher of The Guardian, Mr. Alexander Orueme Ibru, has been described as a nice and patriotic Nigerian 'who shouldn't have departed at this time of our nation building'.While paying tribute to the former Internal Affairs Minister, former Military President, General Ibrahim Babangida (rtd), said he was a man who believed strongly in the unity of Nigeria.Babangida pointed out that Ibru's concern for the stability and oneness of the country, after the grueling experience of the civil war, was statesmanlike.
