MoneyGram rewards customers

MoneyGram and its agent banks in Nigeria have given out 20 notebook computers and other educational materials to customers who emerged successful in the national draw for their consumer promo for this year.A statement by MoneyGram said some winners smiled home with HP notebook computers while others went home with school bags containing educational materials meant to support the urge for quality education by different categories of people in Nigeria.The lucky customers present at the event include Dorcas Ayegbo, Expechi Chinwe, Adebayo Abiodun, Ajibade Abolanle and Olufunmilayo Osibajo. They all went home with their prizes.In her review of the consumer promo, the Regional Director for Anglophone West Africa, MoneyGram, Feyikemi Adebayo, expressed satisfaction with the response of customers to the exercise, which she said was meant to service their educational needs in the country.She said, MoneyGram has unalloyed commitment to education development in Nigeria, as it believes that the sector plays a very important role in nation building process through provision of human resource for other industries that constitute the aggregate economy.The need to boost access to quality education in this part of the world cannot be overemphasised, this necessitated the MoneyGrams resolve to make a positive difference in the various tiers of education in Nigeria.A total of 11 primary schools benefitted from the kind gesture. Three of them were in Ibadan, five in Benin, and the remaining three in Lagos.
