Onuoha back on Eagles' radar

SUPER Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi will check if Manchester City defender, Nedun Onuoha will be interested in playing for Nigeria as the search for options in the national team continues.Onuoha has featured for England at the youth level and was made the captain of England's U-21 team by Stuart Pearce.He was given the chance to try his luck with the Super Eagles 2010 World Cup-bound team to South Africa but the player insisted he wished to concentrate on his club football.''Keshi says he loves the defensive qualities of Onuoha who is adept in lateral and central defensive abilities,'' a source told Tribunesports yesterday.However, Onuoha is said to be keen on sorting out his club future.He spent last season on loan with Sunderland and now that coach, Roberto Mancini appears Man City's not to be keen on Onuoha, the defender's agents are discussing with a number of English Premiership clubs where the defender could get quality playing time.Clubs like Bolton , Blackburn, West Brom and QPR are said to be in the race to sign him.
