We want to invest in Nigeria - Baglioni Hotels

While some foreign investors are runningaway from Nigeria just because of thecontroversial reports being churned out by the Western media that Nigeria is not conducive for investment, there are other foreigners who are dreaming of investing in Nigeria.One of such men is Faisal Rashid, Regional Director of Sales, (Middle East), Baglioni Hotels Collection, which has a property at the 60, hyde Park Gate, Kessington London, SW7 5BB.Rashid, who spoke exclusively to Tribune Tourism Magazine after he paid a business visit to Nigeria's stand at the just concluded World Travel Market held at Excel, Dockland, London, recently, revealed that he would like to invest and work in Nigeria.'I love Nigeria. It is a country of immeasurable economic potentialities. It is a veritable ground for tourism business. I am searching for where to invest or involve in your country.'Rashid informed that, 'we are ready to form partnership with any serious business-men in building hotels or acquiring hotel, or in branding hotel or any big hospitality concern which will be of 5-star status.'He added that, 'we are ready for anybody wishing to engage us in either management or in consultancy. Nigeria must have a taste of our services. Our hotel brand is one of the finest in Europe.'Rashid disclosed further that ' I was even fascinated the more after my discussion with Chief Runsewe, the Director-General, Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation, who assured us of the corporation's assistance in Nigeria. We are looking forward and expecting offers and proposal from Nigerians or anyone who can engage us in your wonderfully beautiful country.
