From Solution Media, better deal for entertainment industy

WHAT may conveniently mark a turning point in service delivery in the media and entertainment industry not only in Nigeria but in the entire Africa will soon debut in Lagos.Essentially, in response to yearning by Nigerian entertainers and their audiences for services that will be on a par with the realities in western world, a new firm known as Solution Media and Infotech Limited is being floated by some consummate Nigerian professionals who savvy the thirst and how to assuage it, with a view to revolutionizing cinematography, creative post-production, laser and multimedia displays, music water fountain, digital prints, sound system, mobile smart stage and grand stand.Conducting The Guardian round the state-of-the-art facilities being installed at the company's premises at Ilupeju in Lagos, the Executive Director Mr. Adeyeloye Lipede said the palpable quest for crisp and clear pictures as obtained in Hollywood and other cherished foreign entertainment circles made the firm to go for multiple state-of-the-art digital cameras, including F35 (Sonny) that are excellent in low light situations. He noted that in search of this spectacular quality, many stakeholders in Nigerian entertainment sector had thronged foreign countries and expending fortunes.On the scope of operations, the executive director said 'our philosophy is to create a new spectacular experience for our clients by bringing together cutting edge services in packaging documentaries, television commercials, movies, laser and multimedia presentations with latest technological contents, for all kinds of events, private and public.'At the Laser and Multimedia Division of the company, Lipede said the facilities have the capacity to create extraordinary multimedia displays packaged with captivating animations that ensure recognition for products, innovations and services.Also very interesting, in terms of style and the integrated mechanical and hydraulic system of operation are the mobile smartstages that was learnt could be installed in unstable and rough terrain for varied events. Other divisions of the company that parade latest technologies are Sound System and Digital Print.Lipede described Solution Media as 'the first solely indigenous multimedia company of world class standard in our area of expertise', listing its foreign partners as Lobo Electronics GmbH in Germany, SAE Institute, Belgrade in Serbia, Tentfox GmbH, Hamburg in Germany, Vision Research Inc. in USA and Kultour GmbH, Germany, among others.A top official in the Production Department, Mr. Idowu Ogunbayo said ' some of these services have been provided in Nigeria over time, but Solution Media is going extra miles, with its rare equipment, to add the extra touch that will take us to the same level with Hollywood and others at that spectacular level that our people have admired for long, through the use of attractive and technologically advanced approach.'According to Basirat Lawal of the Public Relations Department, installation of equipment in all the divisions of the company is almost completed, and in a matter of weeks, the company will formally swing into operation, after its products launch scheduled to take place in Lagos.
