Ikejacommunity demands secondary school

PEOPLE of Ikeja in Ikeja Local Council Area of Lagos state have  called on the Lagos State government to come to their aid by providing them with a secondary school.The residents  stated that the  future of their youths was being threatened by non availability of a secondary school within the community.Speaking on behalf of the community was  the Olu of  Ikeja, Oba Mauruf Adeniyi Amore,  who played host to the speaker of the state House of Assembly,  Honourable Adeyemi Ikuforiji,   who visited him in his palace during his campaign tour of the area.According to Oba Adeniyi, the two available secondary  schools in the community belong to Onigbongbo and Ojodu Berger Council Development Area.Oba Adeniyi stated that Ikeja constituency remained the economic nerve center of the country,  despite the movement of government to Abuja.He   enjoined government to  consider indigenes  of Ikeja community when doors of political opportunities opened.Responding,the Speaker, Hon Ikuforiji, promised to ensure the realisation of royal fathers dream, adding that they needed to be active in the on going political campaigns in order to get the dream fulfilled.
