ABBA-AJI AS WADA NAS

ABBA-AJI could be Wada Nas come back to life. Many people feel that his comments on the Freedom of Information Bill (FOI) and the possibility of having a president from Igbo extraction are a sort of disservice to the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan. Many more people are wondering if President  Jonathan needs such a vociferous person in his employ.BUT the truth is that President Jonathan needs Abba-Aji. During the administration of the goggled head of state, Sani Abacha, Wada Nas proved his mettle admirably. He spoke in glowing terms of the goggled one as he was in a frenzy to transform into a civilian president. Such people do not need logic or depth to sustain their positions on issues and their loyalty derives from a desperation to keep feeding off the fat of the land.ALTHOUGH Abba-Aji has eaten his words, his threat to scuttle the FOI bill that has just been passed by the House of Representatives is a reminder of a similar scuttling of a letter transmitting power to the vice-president during President YarAduas illness. Now, Abba-Aji has only validated the theory that probably, YarAdua actually wrote that letter and some desperate aides in the payroll of other desperadoes scuttled it  and they put the whole country in an unnecessary but painful dilemma. Now, people should no longer doubt that such idea is possible in Nigeria.BUT does President Jonathan need his adviser on National Assembly, matters to be Abba-Aji
