Oba-Oke lauds Osun govt for building Dagbolu warehouse

The Oloba of ObaOke in Olorunda Local Government Area of Osun State, Oba Adam Bamidele Yusuf-Bakare Esulola11, has commended Osun State goverment for building a warehouse at Dagbolu, saying that it will boost economic activities of the people in the area.,Oloba-Oke who felicitated with the government on the celebration of its one year in office, commended Governor Rauf Aregbesola and his deputy for the warehouse.The traditional ruler spoke at the 17th Oba-Oke Day celebration and N500 million appeal fund held recentlyt in the town.The state deputy governor, Chief (Mrs) Grace Titi-Laoye Tomori in her speech, described the people of Oba-Oke community as good ambassadors of the state whose contributions to the success of the present administration in the state could not be over emphasised.According to her, "I want to place on record, with appreciation, the support and co-operation our administration has received from Kabiyesi, and the entire people of the ancient Oba-Oke community during the trial to reclaim our mandate and since our inception last year".Mrs Tomori also commended the people of the town for their peaceful co-existence with each other despite their defferent political affiliates.The deputy governor, however, assured the people that the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN)-led administration in the state would leave no stone unturned to bring meaningful development to all nooks and the crannies of the state."It is regrettable that our administration met infrastructural decay when we assumed office in November 2010. Nevertheless, it is obvious that the state is richly endowed in human and material resources needed to galvanise sustainable development and we shall, by the grace of God, redeem the battered economic image of this state and place it on the global map," the deputy governor added.
