Team isquad renovates classrooms at Ilupeju primary school

EXCITED pupils of the Ilupeju Nursery and Primary school. Lagos showered praises and sang for a team of young interns from the Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB, Ilupeju branch) recently, after the team renovated a block of classrooms in their school.The gesture is in line with GTB's Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, which the Team iSquad leaned on to refurbish the classrooms.The team's governor, Mr. Damilare Odueso, explained that the gesture was informed by the team's earlier visit to the school, during which it noticed a very deplorable environment not suitable for learning.'By this effort, we have decided to add value to our immediate environment and the lives of these pupils. We urge the teachers to train these children in the way they ought to go, so that as they grow, they would not depart from it,' he said.Head Teacher of the school, Mrs. T. Mbonu was full of gratitude. She told the team: 'as you have remembered the poor, the needy, and these little ones, so shall God continuously remember you'.The Commissioning ceremony had in attendance, members of IBFCAgusto Training Agency, who had been with the interns for over four months and Mrs. Ibironke Aderibigbe of the bank's Corporate Affairs Department .
