Give us water, Agbeni, Oke-Foko, others tell Oyo govt

IBADAN, the Oyo State capital, has been hit by acute shortage of pipe borne water supply.The most affected areas are, Agbeni, Oke-Foko, Gegelose, Oritamerin, among others.Some residents who spoke with Community News, said the breakdown was as a result of a water pipe near Bode market which had a burst.Mr Bayo Afuwape, a resident in the area said they had not been able to get good water to drink in the past few months.'For the past two months, we have been scrambling for potable water, we are imploring the state government and the Water Corporation to help us out of this predicament by restoring normal supply.
