Daniel's aides defend concessioning of Gateway Hotels, farms

Former Group Managing Director, Gateway Holdings Ltd, Prince Gboyega Isiaka, yesterday declared that the concessioning of state-owned hotels and farm settlements by the immediate past administration of Otunba Gbenga Daniel followed due process. Isiaka, who was defending his role at the sitting of the State Judicial Commission of Enquiry on Land Matters probing all land issues between 2004 and 2011, said the overall interest of the state was considered in all the dealings by the former government. The commission had summoned some former political appointees in respect of Gateway Hotels in Abeokuta, Ijebu-Ode and Ota; Apoje Farms, Remo Rubber Plantation, Lomiro Farms, Golf Resort, among others.
