NARTO elects new leaders

The Nigerian Association of Road Transport Owners has elected new officers to run its affairs for the next four years.The officers, who were elected at the 13th Annual General Meeting of the association held in Kano on Wednesday, are expected to hold offices for the next four years.A statement by the newly elected Deputy National Chairman stated that those elected are Alhaji Kassim Ibrahim as National President, Chief Ayoola Sadiku as Deputy National President, Prince Okey Okpala as Financial Secretary, Alhaji Umaru Gaya as Treasurer and Prince G. A Salami as South West Zonal Chairman.Others are Ugwu Okwudili as South East Zonal Chairman, Engineer Sammy Akano as South South Zonal Chairman, Alhaji Mohammed Alkali Hassan as North East Zonal Chairman, and Alhaji Lawal Yarinchi as North West Zonal Chairman.
