FG stops Aregbesola from featuring on FRCN live programme

THE Federal Government yesterday wielded its big axe, when it canceled a live broadcast of Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State on the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN).The broadcast was part of the programmes lined up to celebrate one year in office of his administration in the state.Aregbesola, who was billed to feature on the two-hour current affairs programme tagged Radiolink in Osogbo, the state capital, was stopped a few hours to the commencement of the programme, even after the necessary structures to facilitate effective broadcast had been put in place.
