LASACO advocates human capital development

The Group Managing Director, Lasaco Assurance Plc, Mr Olusola Ladipo-Ajayi, has emphasised the need for the industry to consistently focus on human capacity building.A statement on Friday quoted him as saying that enhanced human capital was key to facilitating growth in the industry .Ladipo-Ajayi said, "Human capital development is one area that the insurance industry should give priority of place. The role of human capital development in the industry cannot be overestimated. Huge investment should be made in human capital in order to keep workers abreast of global trends for efficiency and optimum performance."According to him, LASACO Group prioritises its human capacity, and is developing it through several platforms for all categories of staff. He also said that the company had a blueprint on human capital development in order to retain its place in the industry and align with its corporate vision of having qualified and competent manpower.
