Aderinokun, Akingbade to be honoured with Marketing World Awards

THE late ManagingDirector of GT Bank,Tayo Aderinokun, the Chief Marketing Officer, MTN, Chief Bola Akingbade and Managing Director, Samsung West Africa, Mr. Idoreyen Enang are among eminent Nigerians slated for this year's MarketingWorld Awards.The award, which is being organised by the Marketing World Magazine and BlueNap PR,is aimed at recognising brand excellenceas well asencourage and celebrate outstanding marketers who have helped to enhance the image of Nigeria and significantly contributed to the country's economy.The event, scheduled for December 2, he noted will also provide a platform for networking to stakeholders in the industry, adding,a thing like this will enliven personalities and improve the equity of brands in the country.'The award categories are Best Marketing Campaign of the Year, Impactful Retail Design & Merchandising, Agency of the Year (Ad, Digital and Outdoor), Best use of Social Media in Marketing, Newspaper of the Year, News Chanel of the Year, Radio Chanel of the Year, PR agency of the Year. For Brand Excellence; Automobiles, Banking & Financial Services, Mobile Phone, Insurance, Beverages/Dairy Products, Pharmaceutical and Healthcare, CSR, Aviation, Logistics, Telecom, Brand of the year.There are also individual awards such as Brand Manager of the Year, Marketing Professional of the Year, Corporate Communication Professional of the Year, CEO of the Year, Posthumous, Brand Builder of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award.
