The activities and influence of the Nigerian Governors Forum in recent times have been generating concern amongst the people. Our Abuja Correspondent, Lateef Ibrahim, in this piece examines their role in the polity. IT is not a body created by law of the country. It is also not known to the nation's constitution. Yet, its influence has continued to grow in leaps and bounds. It has influenced a lot of policies to its advantage in recent time. The Nigerian Governors' Forum (NGF) has become a very powerful body that the federal government now finds difficult to brush aside in taking decisions on any national issue.
