Anger in Akure over removal of Lisa

There is a seeming crisis in Akure, the Ondo State capital over the installation of Chief James Olusoga as the Lisa (Prime Minister) of Akure by the Deji of Akure, Oba Adebiyi Adesida.Olusoga, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain was at the weekend installed as the new Lisa of Akure following the deposition of the former occupier of the office, Chief Folorunso David by the deposed Deji of Akure, Prince Oluwadare Adepoju Adesina.A statement by the Deji's palace said 'this is to inform the entire people of Akure Kingdom that His royal Majesty, Oba Adebiyi Adegboye Adesida ( Afunbiowo II), Deji and Paramount Ruler of Akure Kingdom has appointed Engineer James R. Olusoga as OLISA of Akure Kingdom.
