Jonathan harps on importance of job creation

President GoodluckJonathan has saidthat if the government fails to come up with policies that will lead to job creation, the youth will one day revolt against it.The president made this declaration on Monday in Lokoja, the Kogi State capital, at the grand finale of the campaign of Captain Idris Wada, PDP's candidate in next Saturday's governorship election in the state.He stressed that it was imperative for the present administration to ensure that graduate got jobs after graduating from the university adding that Nigeria had what it takes to move forward economically.The president, who said the Wada/Awoniyi ticket was the best choice for the party and the people of the state, declared that he was optimistic that PDP would win Saturday's election.While commending the incumbent governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, for his achievements, he called on the people of the state to come out en masse and vote for the continuity of the PDP government in the state.He warned the people not to engage in violence during the election adding that the governorship election did not worth the blood of any Nigerian.The National Acting Chairman of the party, Alhaji Abubakar Kawu Baraje, earlier in his speech, said PDP had what it takes to win the election.He said the track record of Governor Idris in the last eight years was a testimony that Wada would win the election.Also speaking, Captain Wada promised to embark on projects that would transform the state if voted into power.The president had earlier commissioned various projects embarked upon by the governor.
