NIGERIAN international, Obafemi Martins reenacted his goal scoring form on Wednesday night as he hit the target for his Russian side, Rubin Kazan as the team mauled Shamrock Rovers 4-1 in a Europa League Group A match. It was Martins' second goal against the Irish side having netted once when both sides clashed in the reverse fixture in September. The former Newcastle United forward thus made good his pre-match boast to score against Rovers and he was on cloud nine over the feat saying. ''I'm delighted to have scored again. This shows that I'm really back on form, I'm still the same Obafemi Martins,''Besides scoring in the 62nd minute, Martins, who has been linked with a switch back to the EPL as well as several top Italian clubs lately, was also involved in two of his team's other goals. With that win, Rubin Kazan equalled its biggest win in UEFA club competition and now only needs a point at Greek side PAOK to reach the next round of the competition. The club is presently placed second in Group A with 10 points from five matches, a point behind leaders PAOK, who won 2-1 at seven-point Tottenham Hotspur.Meanwhile,TAYE Taiwo has told AC Milan he will not go on loan or accept a paycut as he tries to overcome a difficult time at San Siro.Coach Massimiliano Allegri is disappointed in the output of the Nigerian defender whom he secured as a free agent last summer from Olympique Marseille and has suggested that Taiwo should go on loan. However, the player says he is ready to fight for his place in Milan, insisting he has not been given enough chance to prove himself.Taiwo was involved in a couple of pre-season games for Milan where fans accused him of failing to live up to expectations. He has played just two games for Milan but Allegri is already having his eyes elsewhere. The coach wants Barcelona substitute left-back, Maxwell, to cover the problematic position as Taiwo and Gianluca Zambrotta fail to impress him. There are reports that Struttgart and Werder Bremen is studying the situation and could express interest in Taiwo but the Super Eagles' defender, who earns about N67m monthly believes it is time to fight and prove himself.
