Mr Biggs, Cocacola unveil yuletide promo for kids

Mr Biggs in conjunction with the Coca-cola Nigeria Plc has unveilled a promo tagged: Mr Biggs Mini Santa Grotto and the Afro Santa gifts Spree for children durin this yuletide season.The promo which is expected to open December 12, would be on till January 1, 2012. It would take place in over 160 Mr Biggs restaurants across the nation.The promo is also to take place in schools and other designated venues.Speaking on the promo, the Divisional Managing Director of UACN Restaurants, Derrick Van Houten explained: 'It is a landmark event in the Quick Service Restaurants industry; because it is first of it's kind. The experience of the Grotto is to bring back the excitement children love to experiencec at Christmas. To participate in this excitement, all a family need to do is to purchase a santa meal at any of Mr Biggs Restaurants for as low as N600 and receive a voucher for the child to enter Santa's Grotto at the outlet. When in the grotto the child may talk to Santa whilst photographs can be taken and a free gift received from Santa. Mr Van Houten also said the event is another way for the Mr Biggs brand to express its appreciation to all it's customers.'He said: 'Our customers deserve the best and we appreciate them. Our food production business will undergo a complete revamp, offering new state of the arts automated food processing equipment which will further enhance our customer experience.In addition the traditional, Mr Biggs Meat pie will be produced in a fully automated production area, producing world class products. A huge amount of resources will be deployed to increase our customer service awareness. Franchises will be managed by highly trained managers who will provide the necessary tools to manage a sucessful franchise.'' Mr Van Houten adds. Asked on the quality of gift expected and who is qualified to participate at the 'Santa Gifts Spree'', marketing manager UACN Restraunts, Nnenna Azuka Onwuka assured of the commitmment of Mr Biggs to the Children in terms of the gifts beign offered to the children by the Afro Santa during the promo.
