APGA To Immortalise Ojukwu

THE All Progressives Grand Alliance, (APGA) has noted with joy that despite attempts by few individuals to twist history, the outpouring of emotions since the death of Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu, shows that Nigerians are still capable of appreciating great leadership. In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of the party, Bernard Akoma, APGA said: 'The image of the national leader of APGA, Dim Chukwuemeka Odimegwu Ojukwu, even at death, will continue to loom large over the affairs of the party, as the party is determined to immortalise him. This arrangement is irrespective of any other plans any other persons or organisations. We, as a party, are poised to engrave, in the annals of history, Ojukwu's rich life story which is replete with uncommon feats and many firsts.'Akoma declared that contrary to feelings in some quarters that Ojukwu's death would shake the foundation of APGA, 'the party has instead resolved to be more united, more focused and continue to expand its frontiers in order to realise the Ojukwu dream of an egalitarian society.
