NCRIB lauds Kaduna's support for insurance

The President, Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers, Mrs. Laide Osijo, has commended the Kaduna State Government for the due recognition it had accorded insurance brokers in its risk management and assets preservation initiatives in the past.A statement by the body on Friday, quoted her as saying this during a courtesy visit by NCRIB to the state government.Every human activity that has risk element in them is worthy of being insured, she had said.Osijo informed the state government of the benefits derivable from patronising insurance brokers, which she said included risk evaluation and assessment, advice on types of policies as well as giving insights into the strengths and weaknesses of underwriters that may be utilised for clients insurances.
