Aganga on transformation

The Federal Government has said that value re-orientation is critical to the economic transformation of the country.The Minister of Trade and Investment, Mr. Olusegun Aganga, stated this while delivering the 2011 Convocation Lecture at the Pan African University, Lagos, on Saturday.The theme of the lecture was, Economic Transformation through Values Reorientation.According to Aganga, Nigeria is currently blessed with enormous human and natural resources.However, he noted that there was an urgent need for the entrenchment of a sound value-based system that would serve as a catalyst for economic and societal transformation.
