Oyo deputy gov charges Christians on love

Christians, irrespective of their denomination, have been enjoined to love one another and outreach their benevolence to the needy and other less privileged members of the society.Oyo State deputy governor, Chief Moses Adeyemo, stated this while speaking at the annual harvest thanksgiving service tagged 'Harvest of Blessing,' organised by the Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Agbala Itura Zonal Headquarters, New Ife road, Ibadan, recently.The deputy governor who described the present administration as an agentt of positive change and one that embraced the fear of God in the conduct of government activities, urged the people of the state to allow the fear of God to be their watchword in their daily activities.Saying that the present administration in the state would welcome constructive criticisms and useful suggestions from any quarters, Chief Adeyemo, however, declared that 'Oyo government is not interested in propaganda but concrete achievements which will bring succour to the people of the state.'As part of its efforts to ensure quick delivery of dividends of democracy to the people, he disclosed that the government had appointed credible and experienced people who had made their marks in their chosen profession, into governance.Earlier in his welcome address, Pastor Akinpelu lauded the present administration for its relentless effort at improving the lot of the masses since its inception. He, however, requested for a transformer for the use of Olode area and its environs.
