Delta State and the N50 billion bond issue

On September 29, 2011, the Delta State government concluded the raising of N50 billion fixed rate bond issue from the capital market in another attempt to actively pursue infrastructural and capital projects execution. This bond issue will have a powerful effect if it marks a beginning and not an end to how far the State government is willing to go down the route of conventional development planning measures to update and pursue new infrastructural and capital projects.
