Edo Sportsmen drum support for Oshiomhole

NO less than four thousand sports men and women of the Edo State Sports Council on Wednesday in Benin City, pounded major streets with banners and placards to drum support for Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole's second term in office.Fully clad in red tracksuit to match, they pledged their unflinching support for Comrade Oshiomhole in a procession from Dr. Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium through the Palace of the Oba of Benin to the House of Assembly and Government House in Osadebey Avenue.According to the sport workers' union chairman, Comrade Joman Egwakhide Bernard, their decision to support Comrade Oshiomhole is based on the governor's interest for sport development in the state.Speaking to the press at the time the procession tra-in got to Oba Ovonramwen Square also known as Ring Road, Bernard noted that the comrade governor has done a lot in terms of sport development in Edo state to demand the solidarity and support for the second term in order for him to complete the good works he has started.
