For the Orokamcommunity torealise its age long dream of development, former Minister of State for Education, Dr Jerry Agada, has called on traditional rulers and their subjects to unite and imbibe the spirit of togetherness.Agada who hails from the community, enjoined the people of the area not to allow politics to rob them of the communal living which he said aided development, saying that they should rather see politics as a means of meeting their needs through coming together as one big family.A communique issued hammered on the progress of the community and the need to resuscitate a town association established almost a decade ago which has been moribund; Orokam Development Association (ODA) with the aim of fostering unity among the people of the place.The communique further advised all the chiefs and traditional rulers in the area to continue to appeal to their subjects on the need to employ maturity in the political game so as not to untie the cord being put together.The communique also stressed the need for prominent people in the area to ensure to engage the teeming unemployed youths in gainful employment so as to curb youth restfulness in the community.
