Why Nigerians can't trust promise on palliatives ' Tokunbo Ajasin, ACN chieftain

Tokunbo Ajasin is a chieftain of the Action Congress of Nigeria, (ACN), and chairman of Atayese, a political pressure group in Yorubaland. Son of the former governor of old Ondo State and Afenifere Leader, late Chief Michael Adekunle Ajasin, Tokunbo was a former board chairman of Wema Bank Plc. In this encounter with AKINJIDE AKINTOLA, he took on President Goodluck Jonathan whom he accused of fighting the wrong battles instead tackling more serious crisis facing the country. To him, government should should shelve the planned removal of subsidy on petroleum products. He also warned that some of the problems facing the country could lead to a revolution if not quickly nipped in the bud even as he criticized the 12-man panel put in place to review the constitution which he said needed a total overhaul.
