Patriots Parade 2015: Start Time, Live Stream Schedule for Victory Celebration

Published by Bleacher Report on Tue, 03 Feb 2015

The New England Patriots are the 2015 Super Bowl champions. After a decade of waiting for a ring to put on their pinky fingers, Tom Brady and Bill Belichick will finally get to return to the duck boats and ride through Boston. To this point, the parade plans have been contingent on the weather conditions. Which, in New England over the last few days, have been pretty awful. After originally scheduling the parade for 11 a.m. ET on Tuesday, the time has been pushed back 24 hours.Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh released a statement about the plans, perJohn R. Ellementand Andy Rosen of The Boston Globe:Due to todays bad weather and the worsening forecast for tonight, the New England Patriots and the City of Boston have made the mutual decision to postpone the victory parade. We thank everyone for their flexibility and patience during the planning of this parade and we look forward to celebrating with Patriots fans during better weather on Wednesday. The Patriots also made the announcement official on their Twitter account:Live stream of the parade can be found at CBS Boston for those who can't make it out. As for anyonehoping to see the snow let up, it doesn't look very likely. Even if the path is cleared for the Patriots to ride through the streets of Boston, Weather.com predicts there will be snow showers again at 11 a.m. on Wednesday. That's comforting, especially during sub-freezing temperatures. But true Pats fans won't be worried about the conditions. The exuberance over winning a fourth title trumps any concerns over the poor weather.Jim Lokay ofWCVB also noted that owner Robert Kraft was worried about the conditions:Regardless of the weather, there will be duck boats, Gronk, Brady and Belichick. Oh, and there might be a Gisele Bundchen sighting or two along with her hubby.Following the usual route, the Patriots will travel from the Prudential Tower down to City Hall. The Boston Globe provides a map of the official route:The parade might have to wait another day, but the excitement is clearly teeming in Boston. With the Lombardi Trophy finally returning to New England, expect a celebration of epic proportions on Wednesday.Follow @RCorySmith on Twitter.
