No, he would have to battle Mr. Money in the Bank, Jamie Noble and Joey Mercury in a 3-on-1 Handicap match to headline this week's SyFy broadcast.But first, he would join Reigns for a special edition of Miz TV. Seth Rollins interrupted and announced a 3-on-1 Handicap match pitting Bryan against him and J&J Security.Dolph Ziggler and Ryback defeated Gold and Stardust.Dean Ambrose pinned Curtis Axel. Axel cut a promo prior to the match and, after the bout, Bad News Barrett appeared on the video screen and implied that Ambrose is too crazy to challenge him for the intercontinental title.Fandango pinned Adam Rose.Roman Reigns pinned The Miz.United States champion Rusev defeated Erick Rowan.Paige defeated Alicia Fox by submission.Bray Wyatt delivered another promo.Daniel Bryan defeated Seth Rollins, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble by submission. He was attacked by Kane to close out the show.AnalysisThis is the first week in a while where SmackDown looks less interesting than Raw, thanks largely to an uninspiring handicap main event and matches between Rusev and Erick Rowan, and Paige and Alicia Fox, that we saw Monday night.With that said, Daniel Bryan continues to be the face of SmackDown, competing in the main event for the third consecutive week. In fact, despite Reigns' victory at the Royal Rumble and his spot (for now) in the WrestleMania main event, it is Bryan who has been front and center on the Thursday night show.Unfortunately for the bearded Superstar, it appears as though the Casket match on last week's broadcast was not the conclusion of the seemingly endless rivalry between the Big Red Monster and his former tag team partner, as Kane will once again attack Bryan to close out Thursday's show.While it is nice to see Kane work with the one guy capable of getting a great match out of him at this point in his career, how many weeks can WWE Creative pair the two up, book Bryan to beat the Corporate Demon and still hold the attention of the audience'The Reigns-Miz interaction is a nice way to play up their history together, but longtime fans of the Blue Brand have seen the Royal Rumble winner dismantle the former WWE champion so many times in the past that it has lost its effect.There is still a chance that this week's broadcast will be great fun. The format of SmackDown allows for a much more entertaining trek through the WWE Universe than Raw. That things are a bit more laid back and the stories make slightly more sense only helps the overall quality of the show.But for the first time, at least on paper, this week's show looks more like a placeholder than must-see television.
