Ogun begins second round of recruitment

THE Ogun State government has begun the recruitment of another batch of employees as part of the state's Rapid Employment Programme with the invitation of 7,424 applicants for an interviewat the June 12 Cultural Centre on December 12 and 13.According to a statement by the Commissioner for Information and Strategy Alhaji Yusuph Olaniyonu, the list of 7,424 applicants invited for the interview would be pasted on the state website and aired on the Ogun State Television (OGTV).The applicants are part of the previously short-listed 10,000 candidates who were scheduled to participate in the interview sessions held on November 4 and 5 and they fall into two categories.The first category consisting of 5,277 candidates were invited for the last round of interviews but did not turn up due to different reasons and the government had decided to give them a second chance.
